Could be interesting. But I'd like my Android to be able to trigger a full-blown real flash. Just for fun

Make an iPad or iPhone accessory and it will sell. It doesn't need to make sense. Next up: an iPad leash, for when you need to take your dog-photo for a walk
-
I would not be comfortable doing this. More importantly, I think you get better photos from co-operative subjects, and you find many more opportunities and stories by going up and talking to your...

You can never have too many camera bags. I looked closely at the Evolution 9, but bought and love the Lowerpro 400 instead at that time I have a Lowepro 300, Lowepro 400, Tamrac adventure 9,...

I have a Lowepro 300 and a 400. Both are great. The 300 is a bit small sometimes, but the 400 is incredibly flexible and spaceous The 200 is too teeny to be useful.

Nice photo. Could have been with almost any DSLR. It's all in the lighting, location, and background

EyeFi is worse than worthless ... it will eat up all of your time trying to get the buggy junk to work and leave you frustrated .

One camera will not suffice. 1 I want a fast rugged DSLR. Canon 5DIII is fine, but it needs Wifi, GPS, better DR, no banding issues, and true 1080P. Maybe an articulating screen, focus peaking,...

how does it compare to the samsung EX2F ?

The closed ecosystem has always put me off Apple. I think the Androids will overtake the iPads

How much of this can be done on a cheaper, non-Apple tablet?

I can't see much value in DNG. It just adds an extra step in the workflow. I'll switch to DNG when it is created in camera.

That's great! It's hard to find really good lens reviews, especially on new lenses.

Shouldn't you be comparing the iPhone camera to other smart phone cameras like the Galaxy S3. I expect the 5 to be better than the 4 and 4S, but is it better than the competition? Who cares...

Canon is just holding back too much in an extremely competitive market place.

I have a 5DII and a good set of lenses. But in this round of new cameras I'll probably spring for a Panasonic GH3 and a couple of teeny tiny lenses for a great portable video/photo package.

I cannot believe they eliminated the articulated screen. I had high hopes for this camera. Now, for me, it's a complete: FAIL
-
If they had two sharp f2.8 pancakes: 24mm and 35mm (FF equiv), then I'd be very interested. So far only the Samsung NX20 and maybe the soon-to-be released Panasonic GH3 are the most hopeful small...

Is there a review coming? The preview was more than 4 months ago.

I read an HDR article a year or two ago that did just what you suggest. I tried it and it works very well. You take 3 photos -2, 0, +2. Then create the HDR image, and then import all four images...
