Looks nice, but some obvious bugs in the UI and the pages are timing out half the time. Not a good start, let's hope they short out any teething problems quickly.

The Gimp is awful. I've tried some of the others too, and it seems that PSE is still the best of the non-PS packages. Hopefully the CC debacle will encourage Adobe to give PSE 16-bit support, in...

Can't say I'd blame governments for attempting to reform if not dismantle the BBC. It's a self serving monster with a voracious appetite for wasting license payers money. It no longer delivers...

There is not a single scientist amongst the BBC's board of Trustees. There is not a single scientist amongst the BBC Executive Board. (RCJ's wife happens to the Vice Chairperson of the BBC Trust)....

The quality of the article needs to be seen in the overall context of the BBC. There is not a single scientist amongst the BBC's board of Trustees. There is not a single scientist amongst the BBC...

Better IQ? Don't know, don't care. The II gives me more keepers, that's what matters.

Did a stage shoot with the K-5II, focus was spot on all the way. Wouldn't have even tried with the K-5. Pentax have made a step improvement with AF in both sensitivity and accuracy.

The camera failed because it was ill-conceived - the AF technology was mismatched to the legacy mount, and it didn't have an EVF. Sony have shown that legacy mount mirrorless cams can work very...

Not necessarily. LR will index either the image in its original location, make a copy to a new location and index that, or move it from one location to another. It's up to you, depending on where...

There really is no need to index derivative JPEGs, as long as you give the JPEG's the same unique filename as the RAW (which is good practice anyway). Then, if you need to retrieve the original RAW...
