1/2.33" sensors should be banned. Can't believe we still this crap in abundance.

"the 'build quality seems to be on par with Canon’s 50mm 1.8 II; maybe a *tad bit better*, but not by much.'"That's not an endorsement but an indictment. 50 f/12.8 II build quality is a joke.

So please explain how you change the laws of physics to make them smaller. All this demonstrates is the absurdity of FF mirrorless system. Sony has been careful to realse only slow lenses so far so...
Not much going on at Nikon or Canon these days at least camera wise. Lame update, surprised it was called the D5300s. Still no D9400 and most likely never will be announced.
How pray tell did you come to that conclusion? Until Nikon manufactures a 400 f/4 you have no basis for your conclusion.

More lame than even the Canon offerings. Pathetic circa 2000 sensors plaguing the waterproof segment. I would have hoped someone had a competitor to the Nikon AW1 by now, but alas just more crap.
Gosh your aiming low if you think the Honda Accord is a great car. The D750 deserves a lot more praise than that. At least you didn't call it the Camry or Corolla of the camera world, that would be...
interesting that the D750 is better at ISO 51200 than the Sony A7 at 25600. I compared it to the 1D X and it's line ball even at 25600 and the D750 eeks out a bit more detail. Impressive given how...

Samsung haven't got a clue about processing. They should stick to TV's. Just having a million features doesn't make it a good product. Fuji and Sony are miles ahead.
The noise of the 7D II looks smoother than the others, but yes your right it can't be the AA filter.
Rubbish, I loaded D5300 and it was worst by a long way. D7100 was noticeably better. I'm only looking at RAW as I don't care about jpg. D5300 is soft and much noisier than the other three cameras.
At ISO 3200 (RAW) the Canon is ahead of the others for noise IMO, but the presence of thr AA filter means the images look a bit softer which would help smooth noise a tad. The Sony's colour noise...
Good to see Canon still not innovating!
I see what you did there.
Well the 35 f/1.4 is fast, but the reason is simple: they don;t want you ruin the illusion of the A7(R) being a small camera system. Fast lenses will make it look unbalanced. Even as it is lenses...
But it's the bread and butter crap P&S that makes the money for R&D. Huge volumes, thin margins, but now much much smaller volumes. Where is the money to come from to pay for R&D for the advanced...
Well said Felts.
