The 1.3x Crop Mode basically crops the sensor down to m4/3 size. Very cool.

Great cameras all, but I don't see how the FZ200 could be considered a compact camera. It's the size of a DSLR.

No question, the GH2 is better, but why is the GX1 not better?

With bitrates around 45 mbps and frame rates of 30p, 25p, and 24p, this will be the go-to camera for compact video. Nothing in this price range comes close...

If you need video, the Canon S100 is the one to get. It does 1080/24p @ 38 mbps and 720/30p @ 24 mbps.
