In my business. its easier to stay with a subscription rather then going through the yearly hassle of requesting software upgrades.. its cheaper, faster and less work to manage
considering they are not forcing you to upgrade or even use there product and they have free will to change what they charge for there products.. I dont think you have a case
if you wanted to upgrade to CS6 how much would that cost you? stay with CS3 if that works for you and you wont ever need to spend money on software again :D
