That is a software problem that people are already looking at. The raw files contain each individual frame. It would be rather trivial to select the parts the move and cause error and use data from...
I got kind of excited about this and then realized its only 2x3 inches. *sadface*$.50 for a 2x3 inch print isn't exactly cheap either.

Thanks for the additional info. :)
That's a very useful tip. I need to play with this sometime.
This is hands down the best comment I've read here in a while and sums up dpreview readers well. I'd love to see what kind of images they produce in the small time constraints that the editors have...
Its a big problem. It doesn't seem video card related, more memory management related. Everything else is smooth sailing for me now. My video card drivers keep dumping at the login screen for no...
Thanks for the quote. Sony knows that it needs a more professional line IMO. I would expect to eventually see some kind of flagship beyond the A7. Just a guess though. It would be foolish for them...
@ethanp99: i was exaggerating slightly. A lot of devices have 3gb now and last year 2gb was pretty standard. Memory is relatively cheap, so why not?
That's almost standard on $400 smart phones anymore.
Lucky you. Is your kernel leaking RAM? I bet it is. Every windows 10 machine I have is doing that. Also my laptop dumps its video card drivers every time I reboot, forcing me to uninstall them and...
I'm no sony fanboy, but they have stated in an interview that they are working on a solution to this problem.
So which is it? Sensor performance "is just as good" or a "trade off in some image quality for a sleeker device?"
Oh I see, you set shadows +50. Still, you should use the curves box more. It gives you a lot more control IMO. I usually just set rough levels in the exposure box and then start tweaking the curve.
"Well, with 50MP "fine detail" is defined differently. That's the point."No. Its not. NR reduces resolving power on any camera.

No. Its not. NR reduces resolving power on any camera.
Sensor manufacturers cheat and misrepresent the pixel count of their sensors? Hardly. Also you really take blacks to -100 and shadows to -50? talk about crushing all your shadow detail.
Incorrect. Digital has its own limitations when it comes to low light, but reciprocity failure is not one of them. Longer exposures increase noise from dark current, but that's about it.
Manufacturers don't make much on the cameras themselves. They are hoping you buy accessories and lenses.
Having had a lamp (and capacitor) on my Metz explode one night, I can say that none of the above will happen. It will just scare the crap out of you is all. The front plastic element kept any glass...
42mp isnt enough? LOL. 42mp will outresolve nearly every FF lens made. If you need more resolution in a tangible way with bayer filtered sensors, you need to go to a larger format. The 5DS still...
I'm here to collect your troll card. Its time to turn it in.
