Actually you can print them, and large. I've printed iPhone 4S shots at 11x14 no problem. I've printed iPhone 5 shots that literally look just like my DSLR so that I don't even need to tell anyone...

yep, i see instagram as an app there. looks like we need a new definition for 'mobile' photography. Is 'mobile' any picture taking device that can instantly share to the internet / social networks?
