  • NX1 should have both intervalometer and bulb, my NX30 has both.

  • No AF adapters exist. You can get a manual focus Nikon G to Samsung NX adapter, you control the aperture on G lenses with the adapter. Canon you can't control the adapter. Nothing that will AF...

  • But they aren't really equivalent other than field of view. If you had a more equivalent 12-35mm f/2.3 it would also be larger and heavier than what you have. So the question is how much do you...

  • Me for one, all I shoot are weddings/events. It looks like they have a 300mm f/2.8 coming sometime (can't know for sure when or if), but 16-50mm f/2-2.8 and 50-150mm f/2.8 are plenty for me.

  • Exactly, and be sure to get a 30 mm f/2 pancake as it makes it a very small and very capable camera for when you just want to walk around and take photos.

  • I think part of the reason is they weren't ready to go mainstream? They definitely seem so now, and have a camera they can really push.

  • Samsung has always had consumer-ish video quality as well, I have a feeling that is changing in a serious way.

  • They rate battery at 500 shots, my NX30 is rated around 350 shots, but I get 500 to 600 if I just shoot (don't do much composition or reviewing). So I hope to get up to 800 shots per battery or...

  • Yeah, but much wider range. In practice I find 16-50mm f/2-2.8 more useful than 18-35mm f/1.8, as I am using a flash anyway. Your mileage may differ of course.

  • It is a mirrorless camera, not a DSLR. It is Samsung NX mount. You can adapt most any manual focus SLR lens, like Nikon F, Canon FD, Pentax K, etc.
    Lenses list is here:...

  • I am saying this Canon would be a better camera with the Samsung sensor, the Canon's AF performance is independent of the sensor.
