Indeed, yes. But only true of really good Leica lenses, and not all Leica lenses are that good.

Other lens makers that can come close to the Leica look, though there are...

  • seliscan:

Okay, but I don't think the stumbling block is the recording of raw data; it's as you already said the editing.

And right for now, big data will use external recorders, like video tape...

  • seliscan:

I'm thinking 5-10 years in the future.

Forcing the software doing the editing of whatever to load entirely into ram speeds things up.

Remember how unreal the possibility of a 36MP...

  • seliscan:

Editing of raw can be done, but right the computers to do it aren't $2000 laptops.

  • The Pentax K3 is sort of like the D300S.

And Pentax seems to be getting its lens act together.

Better high ISO performance from the D750 though.

  • seliscan:

Why would you need 4K video to get the best normal HD video?

Seems to me that raw HD would be much more useful that just a bigger compressed format. (And then raw 4K would be better...

  • So as not to cut into D4S sales.

Albeit the Df's high ISO performance does remain better than the D750s--but not by a huge amount.

  • And in my raw shooting experience, the D750 is significantly better at higher ISOs than the D610.

So that website is wrong, or only referring to jpegs.

    It's not helpful that PhotographyLife.com...

  • wassim al malak:

Neither the D610 nor the D810 has the high ISO capacity of the D750. It is way oversimplified to say that the D750 is a combination of the D610 and D810.

  • Possible. But this is more of still camera, and Sony has big still camera/lens problems.

  • DouglasGottlieb:

Yes, good Fuji lenses are plenty good optically.

  • The D750 is a better high ISO camera than the D610, so that's better image quality--may not be important to you though.

One would have to shoot with the D610 on the same day, at the same time, at...

  • SkilakDeZoo:

Harmonics that digital audio engineers ignored for years is part of it.

  • SulfurousBeast:

The problem for you is that Leica is doing quite well.

    You've confused 2004 with 2014.

  • SkilakDeZoo:

No what I'm talking about isn't only a turntable thing.

And the terms overtones and overtones are very real physics of sound.

    Figure it out.

  • SkilakDeZoo

    No, raw is not:

"It is a mean to help you to figure out the settings in your camera and then you can shot with smaller size files."

    This claim is simply wrong.

    You can look up...

  • Sidath Senanayake:

Yeah, so? Jpegs aren't raws. Also not news to me that some of the files are derived from raws.

Anyhow, extract to tiff if you care about image quality.

    So, you've not...
