Thanks for your reply. The 50/1.8 is actually pretty decent and reasonably priced too. Whats missing imo, is a more wideangle and fast lens, like 24 or 28mm Fullframe equiv. Or maybe they are...

@chadley_chad: thats why I am interested to upgrade from m4/3, as I stated above. @EinsteinsGhost: well, I see that it wasn't the most clever post I ever did, regarding camera systems. But it was...

Hahaha, you really seem like a nice guy. Very sympathic and full of endless wisdom. Must be the reason why you don't use your real name. Good day to you and all the best!

And who are you exactly talking to me like that? I was just expressing that those lenses aren't interesting regarding other systems. And thats what this section is for. If you don't like what I...

I wouldn't go that far, calling all XF lenses *very poor* in optical quality. Especially not the recently launched 18-55/2-2.8. Scrolling down the page, I get the feeling you are defending Sony a...

I wouldn't go that far, calling all XF lenses *very poor* in optical quality. I wasn't bashing 'your' product. I was just saying that they need way more to attract me as a potential customer...

No, it's supposed to 'do the job'. But I prefer something else, anything else, to 'do the job'. Because I wouldn't want to touch this ugly beast.

Nikon and Canon are really racing head to head for the last places in the mirrorless business. Well, Canon has at least two APS-C kinda mirrorless cameras out there. This comes from a veteran NPS...

Great article! I'm in love with my GF1 and now GX1 with fixed lenses. Best travel camera imho. I wouldn't go so far to only shoot with my 4S but I know how you felt the need for downgrading, as I...

Now let me get this out of the way. You have an f2 lens on a FF camera but aren't willing to shoot it wide open because of the limited DOF? Try an APS-C or even better m4/3 or best a Nikon1...

Spot on, JackM! And yes, I personally love to shoot fixed lenses. And 35mm is my prefered focal length for street/travel/always on. And thats where this little lightweight comes into play.

Dear dpreview, why oh why aren't you shooting a fast lens the way it is meant to shoot, like, wide open @ f2? So many f4.0 nighttime shots. Yes, we all know it performs better if stopped down,...
