those snaps only prove you need really good glass for 24Mpix
The Lytro is not a consumer product. It is still this great technology that hasn't found it's purpose, yet.
such a sensor would be really stupid. imagine a 40+ MPixel sensor no landscape photographer could use because of defraction is starting at f6.3
Thank god it's not 24 mpixel! Defraction would have been noticable from f8 on..
They shouldn't have done this. To my eyes the images do not look any sharper but certainly show a whole lot more moiré.
the price is outrageous! the canon 40mm 2.8 is 179 EUR! and that is FF
I forgot to tell you: 6 frames only can be really annoying!
My Canon 10D from 2003 buffers 6 frames in RAW. But hey.
Funny idea — a 54mp FFcamera would have defraction starting at f6.3. That would make all your f16 Landscapes look as soft as 70ies softp°rn. Even with the big proud capital E.
And don't forget to buy a new computer first capable of handling the huge files ; )
resolutionwise there is not much coming on top. what a nice excuse for buying a medium format system!e.g. 24mm f1.4 D3s 10p-mpixD3x 16p-mpixD800 17p-mpix
what exactly is your question?
this is a lens. not a technical camera. that's the difference
in what world are you living in. the economic crisis is real!
blabla. sorry to say that: but this is just bu||$hit. I had to sell my camera as well to pay the rent. and believe me: you better do.
