cgarrard: Love the A10's Jon- it's unAmerican that they are retired from active duty. ;)
What retires the A-10 has not stabile wings. Its rings are turning top on it!
Its a Long Bow Apache!
Two cool thing; Aviation & Photography. Yet missing the coolest ever third element. I AM!
Damn, I wish to be at his place :)
This keeps Polaroid brand alive. "carry everywhere stuff" is today's motto, which undoubtedly born by GoPro's. Not many of us take print anymore but we all share ! Great approach Polaroid, I like that. Hopefully its also works with Windowsphone that I can buy one too!
(sadly, Panasonic wifi does not work with windowsphones!!!!)
Nowadays (not for canon only), all the cams have great "on paper" features. But real life says different. Such as- FZ1000 is a huge cam even other goodies.- RX10II is so expensive that you should sell your car.etc... I wonder what will this new guy show a a "bad surprise".
Biggest positive result is; compact camera sensors no more smaller than 1".
Ben O Connor: None of those are match to a Leica full frame autofocus camera! And else than A7RII, they are the same models with 4K ! Sony used to sell some updates for cameras via its app store (time lapse I.e.) , but now for just 4K you have to buy entirely new camera! Fujifilm still leads the game by updates category.
Ok ok you win :) But I still won't pull trigger any of those. If I will win lottery tonight, I'll go for leica q and maybe then (and only then!) I will have a rx100 IV for my pocket. Just to make you happy pal ;)
I don't say "4K update" , just saying interms of general updates, Fuji rules.
Hardly anything change in RX's ust 4K is the news... Too much money for my economics.
Leica ist das kamera!

Seems like "4K is da thang!" But I prefer a Leica Q and "Shootin' like a bawss" around.
There are Leica X (35mm F 1.7) and X-E (35mm F 2.8).
This new one however has very elegant outlook. And has built in EVF. I liked the small thumb grip. The sucking thing is my bank account! I can't afford such beauty.
Hence I own a GM1 & 15mm F1.7 leica M43 system
Happy birthday! Regards from another 30'er from Finland!
Eric Hensel: " Leica emphasizes the lens's benefits for photojournalism..."I remember the golden-age of photojournalism...gone now...perhaps someone should inform Leica.
Photo journalism is sound more like "war photography". I don't want to be put to a conflict also not to bring my 10K worth of stuff!
Don't worry folks! We can't afford :D
Coolest smoker man! Great shot :)
Future of air transport.
Priced better than GX7 back in time...Also than P-5 & EM-5...Better specs than many other M43 cams...
But damn that new Fuji ! It looks awesome in silver! Even I won't buy Fuji in coming times.
Make a smaller version of this, for my;
GM1(3 batteries, charger, HDMI cable)Leica 15mmOlympus 45mmPanasonic 35-100Cards7-9" tablet (charger)
And price between 49-79$/€ ! You have yourself a customer from Finland.
Enough of omd's ! I want to say see a PEN with smilar IBIS, an old leica like winder(extra battery+grip) and OVF!!!don't say "yeee but they can't put a mirror... Lenses wouldn't cover... It'll get bigger..." They managed back in 60's ! Well it was a half frame camera, just like today's half crop M43 system !!!!!!!
30mm is a great one! I owned it for a while as my first lens pairing by a E-PM1. Field of view is very suitable for day time street shots and also very good one for stitch-panorama landscapes.
Existence of a thing called "mirror" !!! :)
Mid range (canon xxxD, Nikon D5xxx, Sony @3,5) are totally useless for today's IQ. More expensive yet smilar image quality with entry models, yet more expensive and bulkier!
The only camera in this range, even benefits the mirror by %100 coverage EVF is the Pentax. K30, K50, KS-2 huge range if APSC crop lenses, WEATHER SEALED, in body SR, and cheaper...
