Apple event confirmed for September 10th

Yup, it's finally official. The next Apple event will take place on September 10th and 10 a.m. Pacific in Cupertino, CA.

After months of speculation, Apple is likely going to announce the next devices in its iPhone line. On top of the latest flagship smartphone, Apple is also expected to release a more affordable (and colorful) iPhone.

Google Nexus is one of the most competitive phones in the market today. Why would I pay for an overpriced iPhone with slower hardware and mediocre camera and tie myself to a 2 year contract?

Well, the iPhone 5 does have a better camera than the Nexus 4 and I don't think the next Nexus will have top-of-the-line camera either.

Unfortunately. I'd love a cheap high-end Android phone, in which the camera is also a killer one. Google's track record, however, shows it won't happen.

Does have better or does have the same mediocre camera? Only the ones with PureView sensor are better for me.

Other device manufacturers have already shown they can increase market share by giving their products away. Hopefully Apple will stick to a profit oriented business model and if they can also be #1 that's swell too.

If you cannot afford 200$ for an iPhone (current entry level price for iPhone 5) what is the likelihood you can afford 70$ a month for 24 months?
