App promises to change your mobile photography perspective

The fixed wide angle lens of your smartphone can distort perspective.
The Perspective Correct app offers live view perspective control to control distortion.

The fixed wide angle lens of your smartphone can make it difficult to achieve accurate perspective in your mobile images, particularly when shooting architecture and landscapes.

The Perspective Correct app allows for live view control over perspective, letting you correct for distortion before capture. The app is out today for iPhone and iPad users, available in the Apple App Store for $1.99 USD. No word yet on when it might be ported to other mobile operating systems.

We've had a quick play with the app to practice manipulating scenes before snapping. The selective focus and exposure controls are also very useful, and we look forward to running the app through our own testing.

The problem with all these apps... too many to choose from. Sell the technology to Camera+ please so then I can continue to use a single app.

Thanks fuego6, we'd definitely consider the offer, but i'd prefer to sell it to ProCamera than Camera+

Yes please, incorporate into ProCamera instead of Camera+.

Location data is removed and it's not yet been updated for the iPhone 5 screen. But, it works quite well.

Hi Matt, yep we'll fix both in future updates. Glad it's working for you. Would love to see your results.

Sure, I'll see how I go. Where do you want me to post them? Hi Misho!
