App released for Windows 8 takes photos with voice activation

1

Android and iOS aren’t the only mobile platform players in the photography game. The Windows 8 app store is ever-growing as developers bring their apps to the new operating system.

ReadyClick for Windows 8 allows users to take photos by saying “ready, click.” The app then autofocuses and snaps your shot after giving you a couple seconds to smile. Great for self portraits, ReadyClick gives photographers all the time they need as they set up their shot and take their pose. Android and iOS users looking for a ReadyClick equivalent can use ShutterVox for iOS or Say Cheese Camera for Android.
