Padcaster supes up iPad video recording

The Padcaster iPad case has 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes on each side to hold a video equipment.
Apple's fourth generation iPad records 1080p HD video. The latest version of the device can hold up to 128GB.

The Macworld/iWorld showfloor featured iPads in all sorts of ways. They roamed the show floor as robots with Double, and the usual plethora of cases and tripods had the devices swimming in aquariums and propped up in all sorts of unusual ways.

What really caught our eye was the Padcaster iPad case. The hefty accessory allows for the attachment of extensive video equipment for videographers who want to use the device's 1080p HD video recording and new 128GB storage capabilities.

The Padcaster has 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes on each side to hold various lighting and audio recording equipment as well as a tripod thread and locking-pin hole to attach a tripod, monopod or shoulder mount for stable shooting.

Built to work with the Padcaster, the Lenscaster camera attachment gives the user control over focus and depth of field for a more film-like quality.

The Padcaster and Lenscaster combo unit is available for $150. Tripods and audio/lighting equipment is not included.

Come on dpr...the spelling is pathetic!

how much tools will be made than camera producers will make camera modules for better connecting with smartphones/tablets and vice versa ?

Maybe there is necessary companies with both experiences (in the camera and computer branches) ... Samsung and Sony have both, but not courage for a real innovation or it is a difficult to combine work teams ...

Apple has been the innovator ... Why Is Time Flying By So Fast These Days?
