Instagram shares top 10 photo locations of 2012

While it may seem like every photo on Instagram is taken in the sushi place down the street from your house, the photo sharing social network has revealed a Thai airport to be most popular place to upload photos in 2012.

Suvarnabhimi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, was the scene of more than 100,000 uploads by traveling Instagrammers this year. Rounding out the top 10 is New York’s Times Square, Paris’ Eiffel Tower and six locations in California:

• Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles
