Sony announced the Xperia L smartphone, above, and Xperia SP smartphone today.
After the release of its 13-megapixel Xperia Z smartphone, Sony is looking to scale things back a bit with a couple phones featuring more modest specs. Announced today, the Xperia L and SP are smaller-screened and have less to offer in terms of memory and performance.
While the new phones from the Xperia line may be lacking in some aspects, Sony gave each an 8MP camera.
There is no release date yet for the Xperia L or SP and Sony has not yet announced pricing, but you can bet they will be cheaper that the Xperia Z which can be found in the UK SIM-free for about £450.
