The new Google Search app for iOS is now available in the App Store, and the folks at Search Engine Land have uncovered an interesting difference between the Android-influenced answer and Siri's response to the question of which smartphone is best.

While Siri suggests iPhone is tops, Google Search will encourage you to find out for yourself, with links to reports like CNET’s list of best smartphones, which includes three top smartphones we've now reviewed more thoroughly than anyone else on the web in terms of the feature we find more important -- the camera: iPhone 5, HTC One X and, just out today, Samsung Galaxy S3.

Siri used to answer "Nokia Lumia 800" to this question, until the IT press publicised it... then Apple had Siri "fixed" so now it plays dumb!
