Aquatic drone splashes around while taking photos

The Ziphius takes photos and shoots video while propelling itself across the water.

The Ziphius camera is a smartphone-controlled aquatic drone that floats around, sending live video back to your mobile device.

The Ziphius is still in the development stage and is a semifinalist in Endgadet’s Insert Coin crowd funding contest. So far, it can record video and shoot pictures, sending the images back to your Android or Apple smartphone or tablet via wi-fi. No word yet on camera specs.
